Welcome to

The Inspired Rail

A few words from the creator:

Lots of people find the Inspired Railgun project incredibly interesting, but I hear the same question a lot; why?

I ask why not? I have the time, energy, knowledge and finances to do it, and its fun to me. I don't think I'd spend hundreds of hours and close to a grand doing something I didn't enjoy. But I guess that's not really an answer to the question. I guess the answer is because its loud, dangerous, technically challenging and not many other people are doing it. I get a kick out of designing something that requires knowledge of so many different disciplines and is hovering so close to self destruction. The detective work involved in discovering the second and third order interactions of materials and physics pushed to the limits. I like it cause it stimulates my brain, its loud and dangerous. Did I say that already?

I am in no way, shape, or form, a terrorist, nor do I condone the despicable acts of terrorists! The technology I am developing is not meant for harming persons, places, or animals, but a few "things" or, targets, will definitely get damaged along the way.
